Advanced Optometry is Pleased to Offer Digital Retinal Photography, a state-of-the-art diagnostic tool which provides a detailed view of your retina… the tissue in your eye that is responsible for your vision.  

 HOW DOES THIS WORK?

Dr. Lebby will take a picture of your eye with a special camera which reveals the internal structure of your eye. It’s non-invasive and totally pain-free.These magnified pictures enable Dr. Lebby to monitor and compare the internal health of your eyes from year-to-year, which facilitates early detection of any potential problems. Digital photographs will not only uncover potential eye disorders, but also issues which affect your overall well-being, such as diabetes and hypertension. 

 WHO NEEDS THIS TEST?

• New patients, to establish a baseline to confirm the current state of visual health, and monitor for any future changes
• Those at risk: with systemic health problems or a family history of glaucoma, diabetes, macular degeneration, high blood pressure, elevated cholesterol, or arthritis
• If you have persistent headaches, see flashes or spots.
